VALUES

We believe that God created from one man all nations in His image and likeness (Genesis 1:26-27, Acts 17:26), and that He took on human nature and became man in Jesus Christ (John 1:14) in order that He might taste death for the good of everyone (Hebrews 2:9). Therefore, we are under obligation to confer on every human being the honor and dignity that God has bestowed upon them.

We firmly believe in the reconciliation of nations and the peaceful co-existence of all people regardless of ethnicity, race and language. We fully support the cessation of every existing conflict as we reaffirm our dedication to attaining world peace. As we welcome each and every fellow human being into our embrace, we do so with the belief, conviction and awareness that we are contributing to the rectification of injustice and the establishment of peace and justice in the world.

In this regard, we strive tirelessly to combat poverty and destitution, as well as secure the balanced development of every fellow being, especially those belonging to vulnerable social groups such as children, women, the chronically ill and those with special needs.

Our guiding principles are reflected in our Lord’s words:  For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.”…… “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” (Matthew 25: 35-36, 40)
